Communication as under Legislative Decree 196/03, in conformity with the Privacy Code on the protection of individuals and others with regard to the processing of personal data.

Following the Legislative Decree 196/03, our Company, Castello di San Donato in Perano S.p.A., with registered office in Gaiole in Chianti (SI), is required, in its capacity of "controller" of the processing of personal data, to provide given information on the use thereof.
Source of data and purpose of processing
The personal data in our Company's possession are collected directly from single clients and/or collaborators or through agents or representatives on occasion of special offers and/or in the course of supplies or proposals thereof. Personal data may also be collected from third parties such as, by mere way of example, external companies for purposes of commercial information or market research or from our Company's clients or suppliers.
Personal data are processed within the framework of our Company's ordinary activity for purposes related and instrumental to the performance of its contractual relationships; for the purpose of complying with legal provisions, regulations, European Community laws, obligations laid down by legally authorized entities and by supervisory and inspection bodies; for purposes functional to our business which the data subject may or may not give his consent to, namely management, statistical, commercial, operative, marketing, promotional and market research purposes. 
Processing of data 
Personal data shall be processed by means guaranteeing the security and privacy thereof;  processing of personal data may be carried out by both manual and electronic means (both IT and telematics) able to store, manage and convey data.
Personal data shall be processed in compliance with the Legislative Decree 196/03 whereby, inter alia, personal data must be:
- processed lawfully and fairly;
- collected and recorded for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes;
- accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date;
- relevant, complete and not excessive in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.
Recipients of personal data
Personal data communicated by the data subject or collected during the contractual relationship may be disclosed to the following recipients, which perform functions strictly connected with or functional to our activity, and thus fundamental for the Company's business:
a) 	financial administrative authorities, social security and relief organizations, where necessary, and the Police authorities;
b) 	carriers or other companies involved in services ancillary to the Company's supplying activity;
c) 	companies or professional entities concerned with monitoring frauds and credit collections;
d)	banks and credit institutions involved in the financial management of the business;
e)	insurance companies;
f)	auditors, and administrative, fiscal and contractual consultants.
Personal data may be disclosed also to other companies belonging to our group for the purpose of coordinating management activities, whether or not within the European Union.
Personal data will not, in any event, be subject to divulgation.
Data subject's rights
The data subject is granted a number of rights by law. In particular, he/she is entitled to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not data relating to him/her are processed, and to require a communication in an intelligible form of the data undergoing processing. The data subject may also require information on the origin of the data and on the logic involved in and the purposes of any processing of data concerning him/her; the data subject is also entitled to obtain the deletion, rectification into an anonymous form and the blocking of data, the processing of which does not comply with law provisions; he/she may require the data to be updated, rectified or, when he/she is interested therein, supplemented; the data subject has the right to object on legitimate grounds to the processing of data concerning him/her.
Consequences of the subject's refusal to answer
The subject's refusal to answer to questions connected with the collection of data may objectively prevent our Company from complying with legal and/or contractual provisions related to our commercial relationship.
